Carnevale, Luigia (nee Conti)  
Saturday, April 21, 1934 - Monday, January 28, 2019 
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Erie Shores Health Care in Leamington.  Predeceased by her parents Luigi (1961) and Maria (1991).  Cherished wife of 46 years to the late Luigi Carnevale (2001). Dearest mother of Anna Drummond (Arthur), Roberto, and Mario Carnevale. Loving Nonna of Daniel Floreno, Giovanna Floreno (Bryan Hillman), Robert Carnevale, Kimberly McDowell (Danny), and Christopher Drummond. Great grandmother of Lucy, Aden, Blake, Ryan and Trenton. Dear sister of Marietta DeSimone (the late Franco), the late Concetta Chianti (late Rosvelt), the late Carmela DiSchiavo (Rosato), Vanda Ricci (Rocco), Sonia Testani (late Sante), the late Nazzareno Conti. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dearest friend of Gilberta Medeiros.  Luigia lived her life on her own terms, and enjoyed drinking her coffee and loved her flower gardens. Luigia proudly retired from the H.J. Heinz Company of Canada after 34 years. Luigia was also a member of the Roma Club in Leamington. Special thanks to her PSW caregiver and friend Twyla Watson for the friendship and care she provided. Thank-you to nurses Erika and Steve on the ICU 2nd floor and the midnight shift security guard Daniel at Erie Shores Health Care, for your extra care and kindness during our difficult time. Charitable donations, by cheque, can be made to the Scleroderma Society of Ontario. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) on Thursday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m.  Parish Prayers Thursday at 4:30 p.m.  Mass of the Resurrection on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 10 a.m. from St. Michael’s Church, 29 Elliott Street, Leamington. Fr. Tom Ferrera & Fr. Tony DelCiancio officiating.  (PLEASE NOTE: Visitation at the Church from 9 - 9:45 am) Entombment Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
