Bell, Peggy Ann (Gould)

72 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, March 9, 2020 at Erie Shores Hospice in Leamington. Predeceased by her loving husband George Bell (2000). Loving mother of Ted (Christine), Judy and David (Kim) Bradley. Dearest grandmother of Tim, Bryan, Desiree (Ian), Dawson (Trista), Darrien, Emily and Adriana. Dearest great grandmother of Callie, Karly and Karson. Also, predeceased by her parents Jim and Peggy Gould, brother Charles Gould, brother-in-law Ted Boggs and her nephews Jim and Ron Boggs. Survived by her loving sisters Rose Boggs and Hilda (Larry) Franklin. Loving step-mother of Dana Ryckman and special friend of June Rutt. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Peggy loved her family passionately and was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She spent 40 years delivering mail for Canada Post and was known as “The Mail Lady” around Wheatley. You may have seen her driving around in her blue right-hand drive Jeep that had been lovingly restored by her husband George. Even after retirement, Peggy could always be seen around Wheatley and would often pop into some of the local shops to say “hi” or drop off some baked goods. She will be lovingly missed by all who knew her. Peggy’s family would like to thank the staff at Windsor Regional Hospital (Metropolitan Campus) and also the Erie Shores Hospice for the care and compassion shown to mom. As per Peggy’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Instead, there will be a Celebration of Peggy’s Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Erie Shores Hospice. Family and friends may share their memories at
