Cherished husband to Jean Gunner for over 64 years. He leaves behind his two sons Jeff (Cheri Rivait) and Neil and dear sisters Brenda(late Will) and Lily(Dick). Previously employed as a Model Maker for Cadillac GM, he had a strong passion for woodworking and treasured his wonderful wife and both his sons dearly. Carried a strong fondness for travel while always keeping England close to his heart. He enjoyed spending time in his backyard and recounting countless stories to others. Overall, he was truly a kid at heart with a fondness for Disney World. We would like to sincerely thank the entire staff at the University Hospital; during his stay, he commented on their continued professionalism and friendliness. Frederick carried his strength and independence with him until the very end, he will be sadly missed by all of his family. Upon his passing, he took with him more knowledge than most people could hope to learn in a lifetime. With immediate family present, a final farewell will take place at Reid Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 87 Maidstone Ave. E., Essex (519-776-4233). As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation. A celebration of life will be held in his memory at a later date.
