Terron, Lawrence (Larry) Douglas

It is with profound sadness that we announce that Larry took the highway to heaven on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. Husband and best friend of Dianna Lynn Terron. Beloved father of son Derek Terron (Jen), step-father of Jamie Ingratta and grandfather and Pa of Ashlynn Ingratta (his Guber). Son of the late George and Helen Terron. Cherished brother of Terry (Ginny) of Darthmouth, Nova Scotia, Debbie Scratch (late Larry) of Windsor, sister-in-law Debbie Buchenauer (Konrad) of Kingsville, Gail Fostey (late Dale) of Windsor, Nancy Clifford (Jeff) of Harrow, Dave Froese (fiancé Jeni) of Leamington. Also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His furbabie’s Kody and Tuckers will truly miss him. Larry was a devoted truck driver and drove the highways for 53 years. He loved his hockey, Nascar, racing and fishing. He was a perfectionist when it came to his yard at home. His last and favorite job was driving for Erie Shores Trucking in Ruthven. Special thank you to the staff from St. Elizabeth Home Care for all their visits with Larry. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Larry’s Life will take place at a later date. Larry lived life to the fullest. He was a strong and stubborn man who fought colon cancer and heart disease until the very end. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell St., Leamington (519-326-2631). As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Erie Shores Hospice, Windsor/Essex Humane Society or Colon Cancer Research.
